Interestingly, DialIdol has Paige and Katie at the bottom for the girls and Lee and Todrick at the bottom for the guys! WHOA!

The shocker would be Lee going tonight. The girls are obvious, but Todrick maybe didn't build up enough of a fanbase in the previous weeks to have last night save him, and maybe, just maybe, there are others out there like me who feel about Lee the way I do. hmmmmmmmmm Should be an interesting show tonight. BUT... it IS Thursday, so I will probably DVR it while watching my regular Thursday night line-up and comment on the top 12 late tonight or early tomorrow.

Well I've missed most of this season, just haven't gotten into it, but I just listened to Tim Urban sing and I thought he had an awesome voice. First time I've heard him sing and it was pretty dang good.

THANK GOD HAELEY IS GONE!!!! My ears don't have to bleed anymore! roflmao, and DJ, YES, she is THAT bad!

I'm not surprised Michelle is gone, last night was downright dreadful, but I still think it should have been Lacey.

Finally on track with the guys too, John and Jermaine both deserved das boot... now if only we could get rid of Alex and Tim, we'd have a solid competition on our hands, hehe

Not sure about the department store name but I think it was Nieman-Marcus in L.A. He was arrested & charged with identity theft. The article didn't mention if he used someone else's check or credit card. OOPS! Store clerk recognized him from AI.

Crystal - AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!!!!! I LOVE her! lol

Haeley - PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, MORE THAN ANY OTHER CONTESTANT LEFT - PLEASE GO HOME!!!!! She is beyond horrible, it's so ridiculous! lol Who votes for this girl? The school for the deaf??? geeeeeeeeeeeez

Lacey - her baby voice drives me crazy to the point that I want to jab pencils in my ears! Not as bad as last week, but she doesn't have it, probably out this week

Katie - WTF do these judges want from this girl?!?!?!?!?! lmao She was better than they gave her credit for, and probably one of the top 5 teenagers in the competition in 10 years! Completely deserves top 12

Did- I sooooooooooo love her unique voice and style, and I am pulling for her to do well, but I agree, song choice is KILLING her *sigh*

Michele - pass me some of the crack the judges were smoking, especially Kara - this was 100% HORRIBLE compared to last...

Just tuned in and heard the kid who got added back after CG was DQ'd. Tim Urban from Texas.

Let's just summarize his performance by saying, "He's NO Keith Urban!"

This is going to be short and to the point because I have very little time, but here goes:

First off, I disagee with Simon that this is the year of the girls. I am a fan of no less than 4 of the guys and only 2 of the girls. For me, anyone other than Andrew Garcia in the finals will be a travesty, and that's without hearing a thing from him in the top 24.

1) Paige - Simon was 100% right when he said she chose the wrong song. I don't get the love for her, and I don't think she has the best female voice by miles and miles, lol

2) Ashley - wrong song again (became the theme of the night)

3)Janell - wrong song, off-key, a hot mess, but she'll make it through because there were much worse, lol

4) Lilly - in a word, WOW! I was sooooooooo disappointed in her performance. She completely underwhelmed me, and I really wanted her to do well. She was one of my girl alternates, but not after last night.

5) Katelyn -...

Chris Golightly - Victim or Fraud?

When Chris Golightly was first DQ'd I read a report where HE said his previous contract had expired in June, before he auditioned in July... but he could not find his paperwork

Then http://www.mtv.com/news/articles/1632199/20100218/story.jhtml says that he WAS under a current contract... and AI said that meant he could not even try, no matter what the contract holder said about giving him a release

What a mess... but should be a signal to AI that they need to make it clear to people that if they have EVER been under contract, they need to PROVE that contract has expired before they are allowed to audition

So the "rocker" girl got cut last night. Happy happy happy. She bugged the crap out of me.

I was surprised to hear that Todrick (the Fantasia dancer) never had a voice lesson. Talk about natural talent. He's kinda bitchy tho. I'm liking him less and less.

I like Ponytail. It was funny when Randy mocked Kara for doing the leglift when she hugged the guy. I noticed it too. lol

I really like the kid who forgot the words. What a voice! An old soul in a little body.

Felt embarrassed for the girl who tried to argue her way into the top 24.

I hope hope hope Angela Martin makes it through. She's the black girl who's been "going through things" during Hollywood week. I'll say! Her mother went missing! I think she's still missing. Last year when Angela made it to Hollywood she had to go home to...

Pasadena - Day One

I was really impressed with Andrew Garcia's version of "Straight Up". Most of the contestants change up the songs a little bit; song sounds the same with 'little' differences. But to completely change up a song so that every new vocal choice is an improvement? Wow, not easy to do. I'm so hoping he makes it to the final 24/12.

Question: Who was that guy on the 1/26/10 show in the Lambert group?

This has been bugging me... there was a small "montage" of men who were influenced by Adam Lambert. I swear I saw one of them before and I cannot think of where (makes me think another reality show, or a prank from an actor) but hoping someone recognized him too. I may have to try to find a still if no one knows off hand... bugging me and I hate that!!!

One person parked his brain at the door, and called Kara "Paula" 2-3 times

I refuse to watch commercials. So I flip channels while commercials come on whatever I'm watching. That's how I landed on There Goes the Neighborhood last night. I'm watching a bit and then see the host and instantly recognize Matt Rogers. Anyone else remember him? I remember being disappointed when he was eliminated and posting something on here like "Someone give that man his own show!!" Hosting this lame reality show wasn't exactly what I envisioned, but he is still adorable. Hopefully this will lead to bigger and better things!
