Hilton, OTOH, gets originally charged with DUI (she wasn't over the limit though) gets her license suspended, BUT she actually can drive if it is for work purposes. Gets caught twice for driving under a suspended licence and claims she was actually doing work, coming from a meeting both times. Judge doesn't believe her and sends her to the clink and America cheers

For my wife's grandson, it was waking up in jail and not knowing how or why he got there... then having to walk across town to get to his father's house where his truck was parked (my wife was so shocked by what had happened, after not listening to me for 3 years when I kept telling her "something" was wrong, which I thought was drugs, that she did not go pick him up when he was released from jail) (and, it turned out to be drugs and alchohol)

Now, after 5+ months in rehab, he SEEMS to be doing well... but, most of the time over the past 5 years he SEEMED to be "mostly" OK aside from being so "disorganized" that he couldn't account for or manage the very good wages he earned as an Electrician Apprentice... of course, he knew very well where his money went... up his nose! (he's 23 and now admits to starting drugs at 18 while in high school)

She put her name on a fashion line, but heard it tanked. Of course "The Soup" on E! had to mock it.

I've always wondered how some artist can be wealthy off one hit movie or song for years, but if invested well I suppose it could happen..but I wonder if she has those types around her to give good advice.

She was a guest on Project Runway this season and didn't seem the confident person she once came off as....

As much as I think she needs an intervention, she's been the rehab route before, photos of her passed out in magazines and of course mug shots. So, her house was broken into. Twice. Both time caught on camera. One person who was either a slender boy or a female, managed to keep a hood over their head, and their face away from the security camera. The other two were caught. Not sure what was stolen, but I am sure Linds got some cash from her insurance company from the theft.

Now do you think the "theft" might have been the jewlery that went "missing" from her hotel room a few months before? Remember she was on the red carpet (in I think France) wearing borrowed jewlery from a designer hoping to get some publicity. A lot of companies "gift" things to stars in return for promotion, but thousands of dollars worth of jewels aren't one of those things. So Lilo was lent these things to wear in return for a mention on the red carpet. Michael Lohan appears on everything.. he was on Real Housewives of Atlanta once too, and now he's Jon Gosselin's buddy. Where will he turn up next, should be some kind of game. The mother is not much better..,,

Would love to see Lindsey lay low for a year or so, focus on herself and come back more low key and work instead of abuse her talent. It will be an awful thing to see her end up like Ledger or Jackson. Someone has to say "no" to this girl. I hate to say this because I do not think he will ever win Father of the Year, but Michael Lohan seems to be the only one in that family that is concerned. Yeah, he makes media whore statements, but this last one he made hopefully will strike home. He admitted that LL is addicted to "prescription" drugs (best to say that than the reality which is cocaine. For legal reasons of course) and compared her to Michael Jackson, Heath Ledger et al who were enabled by those around them.

Now it may seem like him stating this in public is a bad thing, and what he should be doing is talking to her personally and getting her into rehab.
