Anyway, that Anna is not one to be messed with.  I loved the dynamic with Lisa in the scene where she had to choose between Anna (who beat her and had her legs broken) and Erica, who has shown her nothing but compassion and tenderness.  Not surprising she chose Anna's side, but that little smile Joshua gave her at the end, when they both were not feeling the bliss, gives me hope for Lisa.

One thing does puzzle me though.  The V's keep worrying about the Fifth Column, but seriously, how scared can they be of them since other than the Sydney Mothership bombing, they are pretty ineffective.

I knew Lisa would be empathetic!  And I have to say it took a lot of guts to meet her mother Anna, fulling expecting Anna to kill her.  She had no idea Joshua would lie for her but still went anyway.

My big question is how a Visitor and human (Ryan and Valerie) can conceive a baby (or egg???  We don't know yet)  But that scene with a pregnant Valerie looking at the dead mouse with hunger in her eyes was well played by the actress and and good nod to the original series.  I fear it is going to get much worse for Valerie as her pregnancy progresses.  Which of course leads to the big "reveal" at the end of the show....

As for Tyler, I am willing to bet that Anna plans on using him to impregnate Lisa. Maybe in the hopes of finding a reliable flu vaccine??? According to wikipedia, (yeah, I know) the Visitor's have been hesitant to colonize Earth because they can't cure the flu or the cold. But that makes no sense since they have apparantly lived amongst us for decades. Another question to be answered in the spring.

I don't get the skinning alive part and why it should hurt. The human skin is only a covering and in earlier scenes when the skin is cut, there was no big painful reaction. Unless the skin's nerves are attached somehow to the reptile nerves, I don't get why the screaming of the 5th column V as he was getting skinned. The other anomaly I saw was the vaccine warehouse. The V's have 29 ships all over the planet and there is only 1 warehouse in the whole world where they were making their medicine? Seems odd to me that the flu vaccine even for the New York market would fit in that one warehouse.

Observations and questions-

Visitors can cure all sorts of diseases, even ones that humans aren't going to have until months in the future, but they can't cure the cold or flu? So are they planning on killing everyone who has the flu with their fake flu shot?

They skin their own people alive!!!! Wow. That is extreme. And how many children does Anna have? Is it a matriarchial society?

And Anna uses Bliss to control her people, which apparantly is addictive. So were all the "people" Earth we saw effected by Bliss Visitors, or humans who had perhaps visited the healing centres? Notice that Ryan wasn't effected by her broadcast.

What exactly is the PLAN they have for Tyler? If it is some kind of cross breeding experiment, Valerie and Ryan beat them to it. LOL

And how far is that Alien armada away from Earth?

I found it interesting that Anna was Lisa's mother! LOL Did not see that one coming at all.
