Thanks everyone! We are all pretty enamoured of him. We have been a little worried about him though. We are currently awaiting an ultrasound to examine a
sacral dimple that the hospital found during his initial exam. For those without the medical background knowledge, a sacral dimple is a dimple at the base of
the spine that may actually be a hole leading to the spinal column. Since they couldn't see the bottom of the dimple, they have to do further tests. Sacral
dimples could be nothing but they can also be an indication of several serious health concerns. Unfortunately we have to wait for another week before we get an
ultrasound to rule out anything.

Well, the littlest bear is just fine. His deep dimple is just that, a dimple. We had the ultrasound this afternoon and got the all clear. Sam has been told
that he is to never scare his parents like this again. Thank you all for your kind words and good thoughts. They have helped us over the last several days
while we waited for this day to arrive. Sam is now almost 7lbs! I guess it isn't hard to grow lots when all you do is eat, sleep, and poop!

So, an update. Sam has started sleeping in 5-7 hour stretches. He is a great baby and smiles so much. My six-year-old has taken to insisting on changing
Sam's diapers (yes even the dirty ones!). Some pictures:
