Posts: 987 09/22/09 10:24 AM Senior Member	Show started last night with the 8 guys dancing... women dance tonight then results on Wednesday Usual mix of "some talent" to "stiff as a board" men dancers... nobody really stands out to me, although I think the UFC figher will go early (maybe first) I'm not nearly the entertainment junkie my wife thinks I am, so learned last night that George's son Ashly Hamilton had been in an accident and could walk for over a year... he still has weakness in his left leg

Posts: 4263 09/22/09 11:47 AM Community Moderator	I watched the show last night also, my favorites of the night were Aaron Carter, Louie the ski board dude, and Donny O. The chef dude was OK but I just didn't enjoy him that much. Ashly will probably be the first gone, unless he got some sympothy votes for having been hurt and making a come back. Chuck Ledelle the UFC fighter was pretty bad also but I think he has more support than Ashly. Tom Delay was pretty funny, being as conservative as he is in real life he was pretty humorous during his dance. Donny danced OK but after an extended lesson session he should be pretty good, they wanted him to do last season but he wanted more practice time so he wouldn't look bad, compared to Louie who has never danced before or even watched the show.

Posts: 1048 11/25/09 04:20 PM Senior Member	Virtual tie between Donny Osmond and Mya... and Donny won... which I am sure is due to his having a larger fan base and more votes Also, either the show was having sound to video sync problems (I watch via DirecTV Tivo) or Whitney Houston was lip-syncing her second song Considering I read that she had problems on a live show a few weeks ago, I lean toward lip-syncing and not doing a good job

Mya was great (and obviously a fantastic dancer.. remember her in the movie "CHICAGO".. one of the murderers in "He had it Coming".. great song.)... it does come down to popularity and the type of audience that watches this show.. how else do you explain (with due respect) Kelly Osbourne coming in 3rd. She is adorable and did a decent job, but it's the old Osbourne show, and "America's Got Talent" reality fans that had to have played at least a part in keeping her in there. This show needs to revamp it's rules and recruitment if it wants to keep it based on talent. No dance show based on talent would include Cloris Leachman, ultimate fighters, and Jerry Springer with Mya, Sabrina Bryant, and Mario Lopez (to name just a few of the better dancers that lost and come to mind).

Posts: 1226 12/01/09 06:37 PM My fantasy lover.	I agree with you about Kelly, but I think Donny deserved to win. Certainly Mya was the better dancer, but she was BOOOOORING! Donny was a really good dancer and 10X more entertaining to watch. Of course, Aaron was a really good dancer and should have been in the finals, so it isn't always fair.
