I work in a University mailroom, and the Library gets a monthly Rolling Stone... so at lunch I read the interview with Adam
NOTE - this was about 8 hours ago and I don't have the article here, so everything is from aging memory!
Adam was "out" behind the scenes on Idol, but he and the producers (mainly he... the producers did not pressure him one way or the other) decided that Idol was a SINGING contest, not a life style contest, so Adam made the decision to just ignore the whole thing and do the best he could at singing
Adam was out all the way back to his high school days... he was in the theater group, and would hang out with the girls between scenes... and the girls told their mothers not to worry about Adam being in their dressing room
While he is gay, Adam did try oral sex with a woman once... the article was not so explicit to describe if this was one way or mutual... and he also said he is sometime "bi-curious" about what actual sex with a woman would be like, but he's just curious and has never followed through... even though he does flirt with both men and women
The rumored "deal" with the band Queen is off (if it was ever really on... not clear on this)
He was coy about the contents of his first album... so I guess we'll all just have to wait and see what it is when it is released
