I remember back in the day, when you wanted to make a sex tape (or any kind of home recording for that matter) it took a lot of planning an foresight. Now, all someone has to do is turn on their cell phone and leave it on the dresser and BAM, you are the star of the newest sex tape.

Now I don't like this Prejean person. I think she is a hypocrital and self-entitled brat just because she is a pretty blonde California girl. But if there is some kind of sex tape out there, it is entirely possible it was taken without her knowledge or consent. But even if she did know (or anyone else who had something like that leaked) why on earth would you want to tape yourself having sex? No one really looks their best in that situation unless you are a porn star with a good lighting crew and make-up people to hide your butt pimples. Not to mention airbrushing and photoshop. You can count me out.

Prejean has been doing the interview round lately (promoting her book of course) and she admits to the tape, but says that it was done when she was only 17, alone and sent it to her then boyfriend. So she says. But I am going to take the "I was only 17" thing with a grain of salt. If she was only 17, there is no way that tape can ever be released since it would be considered child porn. So I find it interesting that she keeps on saying to everyone and anyone that she was only 17 when it was done. A good way to keep it out of the media spotlight and protect her privacy. Of course, she used that underage excuse before when some breast pics of her showed up on the net.

Either way, word to the wise. Never photograph yourself naked. Trust me on this. There are pics out there of me that an ex took, and took with him when he left. And guess what? I saw one of them on the net once.

No matter if they are true or not (and I suspect she did make more than one) she is going about this all wrong. When it first came out, she went on The View, and talked to the ladies, admitted what happened, but lied about how old she was. Said she was 17, but turns out she was actually 20. But the "I was underage" excuse is convenient, and hard to disprove, so many "celebs" use it when an internet nudie they took years ago surfaces.

Anyway, I don't blame her for trying to keep the video out of the media by any means. So she admits to the View ladies that yes she did it, and admits to her past mistakes. Flash foreward to her later interview with Larry King which has been making the rounds. When he asks her, without going into the details of the settlement she made, what was her motivation to settle, she scolds him like a mother to a child. He repeats again he doesn't want to have her breach her deal, but all he wants to know is why she settled and didn't keep up the fight like she said she would. Then she pulled off her mic, and threatened to leave his show. I guess she forgot she was on a show called "Larry King LIVE" because it aired her little tantrum went out across the continent.

All she had to say when asked that question was that both parties came to an agreement not to go forward with the case, and it was satisfactory to all. Simple enough answer, and it wouldn't have revealed any details of the settlement. Instead, she had a tantrum like a 3 year old being told they had to go to bed. So basically, she tried to hide something she had ALREADY discussed in the media! How daft is that? Whoever is advising her on what to say should be fired.
