Posts: 1027 11/09/09 11:28 AM Senior Member	We watched and fell into bed... must be a lot of tired going around this year for nobody to make any comments... so, here I am the next morning The final challenge this time was back in the same field as a few years ago... and with round bales of hay that need to be unrolled to find a race colored bit of fabric The pit stop was right at the farm, but this time it was a non-elim so the father/son team are still in... with a roadblock during the next leg The globetrotters were first and win a trip for 2 to Turks & Caicos (wrong spelling I'm sure) Interesting tidbit is that Brian said that part of the reason he and Ericka are on TAR is because her mother is NOT happy that her daughter is with a white man, and they are trying to show the mother that he and Ericka really are a team

Posts: 554 11/16/09 05:18 PM	Finally got to play catch-up last night and watch all the shows I missed, so I am probably going to be going back in time for a few things you guys already talked about. Sucked that the Rainman team lost because they lost their passport. For some reason, I always thought an important document like that was held by production. Who knew? Felt bad for waterslide girl. I'm sorry, I am not terribly afraid of heights (too much) but that thing simply didn't look safe. If you panicked while sliding down (as she probably would have) you could have hurt yourself. I want to feel bad for the poker player girls, but they should have stuck with the first task and kept at it, instead of going back and forward and tiring themselves out. BTW is this the first season that more than 1 team has basically quit because they couldn't finish a task? And now for the bales. I hate needle in haystack challenges, but this one is the worst because it is physically draining, so I wasn't too surprised to see that it was a non-elim. Now I have to wonder, the girls who didn't finish it a couple of seasons ago.......if they HAD finished, would it have been a non elim for them?

Posts: 258 11/21/09 11:21 PM Junior Member	Bas, I think the producers made this hay bale challenge a non-elimination on purpose, and in fact I even think they planned on the huge "equalizer" of the ferry departure with that task: get a lot of drama without a big impact on the next legs\'s race.
