PEOPLE.com has been reporting that there are allegations that Kate is having an affair as well. It's part of what they ask for being on TV.

I didn't even know about the wedding ring thing, and there are photos of Jon alone in the car with her.. a single young girl. He didn't go on the Today Show with Kate to address this (and her book.)

Innocent or not I don't know. I had married men friends when I was single but I also don't have paparazzi and gossip mongers following me...Shows pretty bad judgment on his part... That I believe for sure.

The girl is supposedly upset with her brother as he is fueling the stories as he is mad at her.. but still.. where there is smoke, is there fire?

It's too bad as my daughter loves(d) this show. We would watch it together but this is probably the end of that show. He doesn't want to do it anymore.

I lost interest in it when they moved to the big house (and the kids outgrew that cute little baby stage) but what made this show fun is they were normal folk, now they're too much celebrity like.

I've heard of the show before because how could you not, but it isn't like it is on one of the big networks. It's a cable show on a learning channel.

I do have to wonder though. While she is off promoting her book, and he is off hanging with "friends", who is watching the kids?

I don't know so much that it was a planned publicity stunt but a lucky accident in that he was caught earlier this year at a bar with coeds and got some press which I think turned out to be nothing. Since then I think the show has "Jumped the Shark" when they got rich and famous (from the show) so how do the producers keep it interesting, especially where he seems to hate it and wants to stop.

TLC is normally low key, but now even shows like "The Soup" mock Jon for being emasculated on TV by Kate's constant pecking.

Having "one more" baby that turned out to be 6 after beautiful twins was her idea, albeit he claims and seems sincere to have no resentment towards being a father of 8 vs 2 before age 30.. He's had enough though as originally he was the go to work Dad and she was the nurse that decided to stay home after the 6 babies.

The dynamic has since changed though where he seems to be the NOW stay at home parent and she is off promoting her books on how to be the best mother ever...

I said earlier I think there was poor judgement for sure on his part, and if he did cheat, Kate should be pissed, but if giving the benefit of the doubt towards them both of them now that the allegations are both cheat are NOT true...of the two, I think I have more sympathy for him vs her.
